They will be opening for the legendary Kings of Leon at the Gasteiner Infinity Music Tour in Linz, Austria on 27 June 2024. Acoustic Element Reflects on Their Journey in Europe
Reflecting on their journey, Jody shared, “We’ve been playing at various events in Europe over the past eight years now. It’s interesting because when people initially see a guitar and violin duo, they don’t really know what to expect. But as soon as we start playing, they get really into it.”
In anticipation of their European tour, Acoustic Element will be releasing collaborative singles with renowned South African artists Jimmy Nevis, Azi Sakwe, and Tankiso.
Adding to the excitement, rising South African singer Azi will join them on stage in Austria to perform their single “Wimbo Wakoh,” among others. The song, uniquely written by Azi in Swahili, showcases an innovative blend of electro beats and the duo’s distinctive acoustic sound. “Working with Acoustic Element has been so beautiful. And I’m excited to open for Kings of Leon,” says Azi. Reflecting on the creation of “Wimbo Wakoh,” she added, “Acoustic Element was crazy about the song! The sound is unique, and I think people are going to love it.”
Fans can look forward to experiencing Acoustic Element’s fresh and innovative session live during the Gasteiner Infinity Music Tour. With their captivating performances and the addition of Azi Sakwe, they are sure to leave a lasting impression.
