On The Bill is back with another incredible opportunity to shine! This time, we’ve teamed up with Expresso, Mzansi’s beloved morning show, to take New Talent Tuesdays to the next level. If you’re an aspiring artist, this is your chance to make a lasting impact on the South African music scene!
We’re searching for solo artists, duos and bands with exceptional talent and a passion for performing. If you’ve got what it takes to stand out, this is your moment to step into the spotlight.
From auditions to opportunities
Auditioning at New Talent Tuesdays can open doors to incredible opportunities. One of these is the chance to perform live on Expresso, where thousands of viewers across Mzansi tune in daily. Whether you’re a singer-songwriter, a hip-hop artist or part of a band, this platform can help you gain the recognition you deserve.

How to register
- Complete the survey: Start by filling in this short survey to let us know more about you and your music.
- Register for an audition at New Talent Tuesdays before <insert date>: Perform at The Blue Room during New Talent Tuesdays. Make sure to book your spot before the deadline.
- Bring your crew: We want to see the energy and excitement you bring to the stage. Bring your supporters and create an electric atmosphere during your audition. The more engagement, the better!

How the artists will be chosen
The artists selected to perform on Expresso among other opportunities will be selected based on the following:
- Guest judges: Industry experts will be in attendance to evaluate performances.
- Social media engagement: Get your fans involved! Votes, impressions and reactions to your performance will all play a role.
