Two brands, one mission: empowering talent
On The Bill (OTB) is proud to partner with Infinity Water by Gasteiner to bring local and international artists together! Both brands share a commitment to discovering and uplifting emerging talent – Infinity Water by Gasteiner through its acclaimed Infinity Music Tour in Europe and OTB through its platforms and partnerships with local artists across South Africa.
Creating two-way opportunities for artists
From 1 July 2025, through this collaboration – OTB Infinity Studios – South African acts will have the chance to join the Gasteiner Infinity Music Tour in Austria and beyond, while Infinity Water-curated performers will have an opportunity to perform on South African soil and show Mzansi what they’ve got!
Leveraging New Talent Tuesdays
This partnership complements OTB’s successful New Talent Tuesdays initiative, which has already launched acts like Sethu G, Mars Baby and Danica onto national platforms and impressed industry judges. New Talent Tuesdays continues to give local artists entry to television, radio and digital exposure.
OTB X Infinity Studios
The partnership further builds on OTB Studio’s investment in creative infrastructure. Each studio space is equipped with top-tier technology and optimised acoustics, providing a professional yet comfortable atmosphere for artists to fully immerse themselves in the creative process.
“Our partnership with Gasteiner aligns perfectly with our ongoing mission – to create pathways for up-and-coming South African artists,” said Jody Abel, CEO of On The Bill. “This collaboration is about more than performances, it’s about supporting talent through exposure and international networks.”
Last year, South African singer Azi Sakwe joined Acoustic Element in Linz for the Infinity Music Tour, where they performed alongside Kings of Leon, Milky Chance, and The Kooks – a testament to the international doors OTB opens for emerging artists.
OTB is exploring additional projects to strengthen South Africa’s live music ecosystem. While final plans are underway, these initiatives hint at an exciting upcoming music event, demonstrating OTB’s dedication to further grow the country’s music industry.
“Infinity Water has built a platform of supporting upcoming European artists as well as partnering with international stars of the industry,” added Walter Scherb, CEO of Gasteiner. “We can’t wait to collaborate with artists in South Africa and support the local music industry!”
Looking ahead
In line with this mission, OTB is preparing to launch its own ticketing platform later this year. This fully local solution will improve access and value for event organisers and music fans alike, reinforcing OTB’s role as a champion of the local music industry.
OTB’s partnership with Infinity Water is just the beginning. With New Talent Tuesdays, forthcoming live events and an upcoming ticketing platform – all rolling out alongside this new international exchange – OTB continues its mission to build a thriving, empowered South African music industry.
